GIJFC 7 A-Side Tournament Information

Grades

Open to Grades 6 to 14.
Grades 6, 7 and 8 play 5 A-Side,
Grades 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 play 7 A-Side.

Car parking

Spaces at Sunnyvale, Main South Road, TRENDS car park 375 Main South Rd for a donation. Proceeds to Green Island Lions and GIJFC.

No parking on the grass at Sunnyvale

Cancellations

Will be posted on our website www.gijfc.co.nz and facebook page.

Awards

All players from winning teams receive a medal. For the 50th winning and runner up teams will receive a ribbon as well.

March Past

This year there will be a march past for teams. Please assemble in front of your club sign on fields J1A and J1B at 7:25am

Coaches

Start times will be sent to you by the Friday evening prior to the tournament.

PLEASE check in 30 mins before your first game at the registration tent

Draw

Will not be released prior to the day – start times will be given to your coach on Friday evening prior to the tournament. Draw will be in your team registration pack collected at the Registration Tent.

They come first – the is a fundraising tournament for GIJFC not a FIFA event

Times for the game
2 hoots to start
1 hoot end of first half
1 hoot start of second half
2 hoots finish of the game No halftime as just a 1 minute spell to swap ends

Semi-finals Run on the Referees time NOT to the hooter

Finals Run on the Referees time NOT to the hooter

Lost property

Hand in or claim at the registration tent – any items not claimed on the day will be listed on our website – www.gijfc.co.nz.

Referees

We will endeavour to have referees for all games. If your field does not have a referee please referee your game as you do on Saturday and enter your results.

Results

Results will be posted on Sporty, Each team must log theior scores on the app
Teams can make it through to the semis on goal difference or the toss of a coin!
Please check your position BEFORE you leave for the day
