Grades

Open to Grades 6 to 13. 

Grades 6, 7 and 8 play 5 A-Side, Grades 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 play 7 A-Side.

Car parking

Spaces at Sunnyvale, Main South Road, Pottinger, Watson and Thomson Streets

Awards

All players from winning teams receive a medal

Coaches

Start times will be sent to you by the Friday evening prior to the tournament.

PLEASE check in 30 mins before your first game at the registration tent

Draw

Will not be released prior to the day – start times will be given to your coach on Friday evening prior to the tournament.  Draw will be in your team registration pack collected at the Registration Tent.

They come first – the is a fundraising tournament for GIJFC not a FIFA event

Times for the game

2 hoots to start

1 hoot end of first half

1 hoot start of second half

2 hoots finish of the game No halftime as just a 1  minute spell to swap ends

Semi-finals             Run on the Referees time NOT to the hooter

Finals                     Run on the Referees time NOT to the hooter

Lost property

Hand in or claim at the registration tent – any items not claimed on the day will be listed on our website – www.gijfc.co.nz

Referees

We will endeavour to have referees for all games. If your field does not have a referee please referee your game as you do on Saturday and return your result to a runner

Results

  • Will be posted on the scoreboard by the Registration Tent.
  • Your referee will record the score and hand it to a runner. In the event there is no referee please record the score and take it to the registration tent. EACH coach must sign the result
  • Teams can make it through to the semis on goal difference or the toss of a coin!
  • Please check your position BEFORE you leave for the day

Runners

They will get the result from the ref. If there is no ref at your game please give your result card to a runner and they will take it to the registration tent. They will be wearing a hi-vis vest, so easy to see. If you don’t see a runner please get someone to take your result to the registration tent and advise that you do not have a runner.
